AQUAMARINE

Aquamarine is a blue-green variety of the mineral beryl and gets its distinctive blue-green color from trace amounts of iron in its crystal structure. The most valuable aquamarine gemstones are those that have a rich, deep blue color and are free from visible inclusions or flaws. It is often found in granite and pegmatite rocks and can be both transparent and translucent.
